Ok it's been a while since I've posted on these forums but here goes.

My Asus G50 VT-X5 has recently broken. It's completely dead and I believe the problem is the motherboard.

Any who Asus said the costs of repair is going to be like £350 - £400 so I'm thinking instead of just using its parts.

Does anyone have any idea if a 9800m GS from a G50 VT-X5 can be taken out and put into a Lenovo r400?

Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated, also if I have posted in the wrong section feel free to move the thread.

    Many thanks
