Long story short, Lenovo Energy Management was screwing up my media players, so I uninstalled it and now everything runs great. What is happening now is not so much a problem as a curiosity.

Without energy management, when the computer first boots the 660m boosts to 950mhz, but if I unplug it and then plug it back in the clock will not go above 835mhz. Restart the computer and I'm back to 950mhz.

Anyone have any quick solutions? I keep the power plan on balanced, which I know is probably the problem since I no longer have the dynamic graphics option. MSI Afterburner also wont work after the computer is unplugged and plugged back in. Its like the plug affects something in the bios that makes it think energy management is still active.
