I brought Lenovo Z570 laptop yesterday while i was amazed the sound quality got very depressed when i install my favourite games Roadrash, counter strike and NFS.
While launching these games the scress resolution gets shrinked to half scree even if i select the highest resolution in setting.
Tried with switching GPU ON and OFF but no luck.
Is there any way i can play these games in full screen mode ?
These are not high end games. please tell me what are the setting i need to do in order to do this ? even my 98 desktop pc runs this games better.

I read the max res. your computer can do is 1366*768, is this the setting you are using with NVidia software as well as the games?
Also check windowed and resolution settings in games
Not sure but you may want to verify that control panel- display is set to 100% ?? -
Hi,Saagar,
Can u tel me the exact problem? It has got 1 gb graphic card so I dont feel gaming shud be a problem.
Iam planning to buy the same laptop in a couple of days.....wud u recommend any other brand with a 1 gb graphic card? -
Slapping more memory on to the GPU does not end with higher performance im afraid.
A quick Google search told me that your Lenovo Z570 might either only have Intel HD 3000 IGP or optionally a Nvidia Geforce GT 540m.
I guess your problem is Nvidia Optimus related, so hopefully someone can help you.
I never owned a Optimus enabled notebook so i cant help. D; -

SlickDude80 Notebook Prophet
The Lenovo Z570 comes with Intel integrated graphics doesn't it? It will never perform well on games. This is a business machine

1366x768 does work nicely with older games though.
Just play it in 4:3 1024x768 and you will get black borders on each side of the screen, but still play the game at native resolution.
Thats kinda why i miss 1920x1200. D;
1600x1200 was a perfect fit for older games.
