Hi, i've had my Lenovo z580 for a bit now. I mostly use it to play games, and I noticed that it cannot run higher - end games. I knew that this was not a gaming computer, but I did some research and found out that Lenovo z580's come with a nvidia graphic card. I am a complete noob at computers and all I know is that I am using my integrated 4000 hd card rn. (I think). I set my battery to high performance, but I want to know how to utilize this nvidia graphic card that is supposedly built in.

Plz let me know how to switch cards, or even if a Lenovo z580 comes with nvidia.

As far as I know, all Z580's came with Nvidia GPU's (EDIT: Nope, some came with AMD chipsets). Check device manager to see what GPU you have.

Then download the drivers for it from Nvidia's website, if you don't already have them installed.

You can force to run games using your Nvidia GPU by right clicking on the shortcut, and choosing Run with Graphics Processor --> High-performance NVIDIA processor.

Z580 is nVidia based, the Z585 is the Amd one.
