    Hey guys!

2001's Aliens Vs. Predator 2 for PC is arguably the best Aliens game ever made, but sadly, there are alot of fans out there who never got a chance to play the game before the publishing rights went into legal limbo (Fox owns the aliens franchise, Warner bros bought out the company that developed it) there's good news. I've created an "AvP2: Resurrection" facebook page dedicated to keeping the game alive by providing a place where people can share links to buy used copies, or download the game. AvP2 is technically abandonware.

While the official Master Server for the game's online multiplayer was shut down in 2008, it has been patched twice by the community to keep the game's multiplayer alive. Links to the Master Server Patch 2.0, and the updates required to use it, are also posted on this page. I haven't confirmed it, but supposedly multiplayer no longer requires the online/CD key to play online. It will ask you to enter a CD key the first time you try going online (only time the game asks for it), but try skipping it.

Check us out, give us a like; download the game and enjoy! We need more members!

Oh crap. I thought playing old computer games precluded you from having to have friends.

Yes, because today's crap- games are so great. Super realistic graphics negated by offensively static environments. When the first Crysis came out I was really excited that realistic physics, to complement realistic environments, were going to become the norm. Then came the sequels, and game's like Rage and Deus Ex invisible war. Seriously, when i'm getting into a firefight with another guy across the room, and all of our shots are bouncing off the the clutter on the tables and shelves, it destroys the sense of realism that they are trying to create with the high res textures and gee-wiz lighting effects.

PC gaming graphics mongers will buy anything that looks good in a screenshot just to justify the existence of their expensive rigs. Listening to graphics mongers talk about how powerful their rigs are is liking listening to some stupid meat-head brag about the size of his . GPU mongers are just as much to blame (maybe even more-so) for the decline in the quality of games as the "consolisation" of the industry.

I agree, Crysis was the last truly groundbreaking game.
