hi guys, i have just tried to install links 2003 onto my new laptop, it says on the box compatible with windows 98, 2000 ,xp.
i installed it ok , when i click on desktop icon it advises to insert disc1, which i did, click ok , it comes up a couple more times and keep clicking ok, then it says links2003 cannot verify your disc please refer to readme info.
so i looked at it and cant find any relevant info, only that links 2003 uses safedisc and some cd-rom drives are not compatible ,.(mine is a dvd rom)

any ideas if i can play this game or what to do.

umm, you could buy a newer game? or you could try using a program to deativate safedisc, or get a new cd drive

do you think it is to do with disc safe?

also on the games case it says compatible with xp,but if i right click on game icon and go to properties-then compatability. xp is not on the list it goes up to windows 2000.

    any thoughts
