    Awesome thanks guys this is great. I kinda slowed down with buying new games at full retail price ($50) just because the new games need the latest hardware to run at full graphical settings so I just wait for Steam to come out with $5 deals on games from 2007 or early 2008 that my notebook can run maxed at 30+ fps. And I'm kinda getting bored even with the $5 Steam deals, so this is great that we get quality games for free that can compare to games you have to purchase. Keep the free games list updated and coming.

    Thanks for this and for pointing to the other (full) thread.

    As for the games, I think on gamespot there is a thread much similar to our own, it has a list of free and abandonware games.

    I play TM Nations a lot, it's a great game for being free and including free online play.
