    Hi. :)

I would like to buy a laptop for playing Lock On: Modern Air Combat.

    Ill be buying a core duo 2,0 ghz, 2048RAM and a x1600 with 256Mb (ddr 2 probably)

Will that setup run lock on, with an average of 40 or so fps, at 1024 x 768, and highest graphics quality without AA nor AF?

    Thanks ;)

    Hey Selu,

I once played Lock on with an 9700, it ran at high settings at 1024*768 without any problems. Your notebook should play it at highest settings without any stuttering at all.

    Minimum Requirements:
    P800MHz
    256MB RAM
    32MB 3D accelerator
    4xCD-ROM
    1.1GB free disk space

    Recommended Requirements:
    P2GHz
    512MB RAM
    128MB RAM
    128MB 3C accelerator

This means you can run it at the highest settings. Hope I helped you.

    Charlie :)

    Hola muchacho :)

Great to hear you got your notebook. A solid FPS indeed but actually I expected more then 40 fps. Try formatting your notebook, reinstalling all the newest drivers and defragging your notebook. It will take a lot of time, but you will be sure that you have the best performance.

    Charlie :)

    UNBELIEVABLE!!!

AT THE GAME FORUM THEY SAY THAT A DESKTOP 6600GT WILL RUN AT 10 FPS OVER CITIES AND AT 20 OR SO FPS AVERAGE IN NORMAL FLIGHT, AT HIGHEST QUALITY, 1024 X 768!!!!!

do u think this can be true???!!!!

No, because even though my desktop only has a Celeron processor, and a 6600GT, it runs it absolutely perfect at 1024x768.

And, now that I have Linux on this laptop, I havent reinstalled Lock-On, but I was getting stutter-free gameplay on 1024x768.
