    Hey everyone,

Having run into recent problems with muxless setups and with my Sager still young, I'd thought I may hunt around the usual online sellers for laptops that include the 8970m but without a muxless design. Needless to say, my search is not going well. Was wondering if anyone here knew of such a laptop or could help out.

    Thank you.

The only thing I can think of is a sandy gen sager/clevo, AW 17/18 r3/r4/r5(maybe who knows), sandy or sandy-ivy precision/elitebook , DIY upgrade, so you may get some bug here and there.

Dont seem to be a new machine that do that.

Do the professional mobile CAD cards such as AMD Pro or Nvidia Quadro run on switchable/muxless setups?

Not sure about the haswell generation, but sandy and ivy can run optimus or gpu always on.
There is no "switch" like the AW, meaning there is no way to switch to intel other than running optimus.
