surprised gears of war hasn't been mentioned yet
hands down one of the best third person shooters there is -
If you like wargames, I would also suggest:

I like Wargames, I know you guys like Fancy-graphical-action packed games but It wouldnt hurt to try.
It has 2D and 3D view, Turn Based with hexes(Sorry, not a fancy RTS), it has over 300 scenarios, plus over 25 campaigns with 35 countries, Battle generator and full editors(including full map editor) to build any scenario you wish.
I would give it try, but it may be too much for your brain.
(joking of course)
buy it from here:

Much better price, I've gotten nearly 20 games total from them without a hitch. -
I'd really recommend Crysis (the original). Unlike Warhead it won't require internet activation and you can probably pick one up really cheap now (new). The storyline is absolutely epic and making use of your system the graphics will be absolutely fantastic. (I'm actually suprised you've got a system like that without Crysis)

I have prototype and the witcher, both are extremely fun. yeah man!

I just finished the Witcher, and liked the storyline a lot. The gameplay was solid, but when I finished the game I felt like I had a lot of things I didn't need saved up...like 1000 ingredients, 20k gold, and a bunch of runes and oils I never needed/used. I also wasn't too impressed with the combat system. The power up skills were pretty useless, and could never be performed in a situation when you might actually need them, and doing the same combos for the 1000th time got a little old. By the end of the game I got bored and ran around spamming Igni.
I ended up siding with the Order, and played out that ending. Now I'm curious who that witcher was at the end...could it be hinting at a Witcher 2?
I think I'm about 3/4 done with Prototype. Just got the Blade skill. It was a lot of fun at the start, but I lost interest after receiving the Witcher. I'm sure I'll pick it up again later this week and try to beat it. -
You must not have played many games then lol... Try "Dungeon Lords", then we'll talk
Most fun I've had in shortest amount of time would have to be Dark Messiah of Might and Magic - ignoring weapons in favour of kicking people down stairs never gets old, and the steam engine is fantastic.
If you aren't a texturephile, Morrowind has soaked up more of my time than any other. -
MrButterBiscuits ~Veritas Y Aequitas~
No kidding Morrowind was one of the best and most engrossing games... not to mention the length of it...
