This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Looking for a new graphics card

    I have a Sager 5796 with a nvidia 9800m gpu in it. The gpu has gone bad and I am looking for a new one. I would like something that doesn't run as hot as the 9800 did, and I also am not really going to be using it for gaming so it doesn't need to be that powerful. The only thing I really need it to do is support 1900x1200 resolution.

    Any recommendations on what card to get and where to buy it from?
