Hey everyone.
I currently have an HP laptop from 2011. Radeon hd 6770 graphics card, core 17 processor.
Almost 5 years later, the graphics card feels real slow, the laptop is becoming real noisy, things are running slow, comp is always hot, etc.
Im looking for an upgrade. Just wondering what the best gaming laptop would be for 1200 and under.
Thanks!

With a budget of 1200, I'd suggest going for GTX 970M on the graphics front and an Intel i7 for CPU. A quick search produces the following options..
17-inch: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834233103
15-inch: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834233096
Edit: Apologies to OP if I was incorrect in assuming the budget was in USD. Also agree with DataShell that the standardized form should be used.Last edited: Dec 22, 2015 -
Thanks for the replies guys. I will fill out that form. Forgot about that.
Those look like pretty sick laptops.
Real quick though, Is it pretty much unanimous that the gtx970 M is the best video card @ that budget? -
But I'd also consider the Sager NP8657 / P650RE3: http://www.lpc-digital.com/sager-np8657-special-features.htmlTomJGX likes this. -
