    Thanks Sylvain for the suggestion of this game :D

    Anyways, I've looked at Act of War, and it looks really cool. I'm a RTS gamer, I play Command & Conquer: Generals, Age of Empires III, and more in the past.

    Sylvain suggested Act of War as a extra to Generals, so I looked into it and it seems really cool. I checked with System Requirements Lab and I passed their Recommended specs.

    Any comments/complaints about Act of War? Is it a good game worth my money?

    Act of War is one great looking RTS. I loved the San Fransico map. I was hoping it would be a bit more realistic (less tank rushes, more on infantry combat), but overall its a pretty interesting RTS. I don't know how alive the community is in terms of new maps and people who are online. I know that there's an expansion thats out for Act of War.

    I did play AoW. It was so-so. CC gameplay was much better. It's not a game i'm going to spend my money on though <<;

    Oh the expansion pack is pretty insane: 4 gig on its own :eek:

    I know! But it was a pretty big expansion. They added naval units, and lots of air units. Still, ouch on the gone HD space.

    Actually there is. I'm downloading it right now :D. Its on the Act of War homepage, along the navigation there's a "Downloads" column.

    Glad my suggestion was helpful. I've had a blast playing it at LAN games, but have never played the single player.

    I have never played single Player Generals, Dawn of War, Winter Assault, Company of Heroes, and a host of others. I just buy them for multiplayer....!

    I played it once, looks verry cool but think C&C Generals really is a better game... Maybe worth waiting for C&C 3: Tiberium Wars

    I'm looking at C&C 3 as well, MGW, but the storyline ventures way back that I wouldn't be used to it. I really wish there's a C&C 3 of Generals.
