Lord of the Rings Conquest Thread

Hey everyone,

Im a big fan of Lord of the Rings. So I thought I'd start a thread about the new Lord of the Rings Conquest game. My brother is getting it on 360 and Im getting it on PC.

Anybody have any thoughts about it yet?
Hows gameplay?
Hows performance?

 

I played the PC version.
It runs incredible on my M17.

1900x1200 res and all high settings perfectly.

I saw the 360 version. The resolution looks like mud on our flatscreen
compared to the PC version...

 

I'm a LOTR fan, but I don't think I'll end up getting this game. While it definitely seems like fun at first, i feel like it would be too repetitive to play over and over again

 

If its anything like battlefront 2, this should be a fun game.

The demo was pretty good, but I can see why it would get repetitive.

 

Yea, the reviews say it's like Battlefront 2, which I enjoy a lot, however, it seems much more repetitive than Battlefront 2 to me. I'll try to find a friend that has it so I can try it for myself.

 

campaigns not too bad. pretty fun.
i like it better than Battlefront.

Yea, it seems fun, but not $60 fun. Maybe once/if it drops in price I'll get it.

 

Saw trailer and first reports of it, but still cannot decide. I played all of three LotR games, and two Battle for Middle Earth. They were great and still worthy playing, after years they have been released. I am not sure if I will get that level of quality in LotR Conquest, especially when I see the trailer, since it looks similar to BfME.

Game based on Lord of the Rings serial should be excellent, awesome, fantastic. Not mediocre.
