    Lost Cause? Stalker issues

    When i try to play Stalker, the game loads the map after the intro video, i can hear everything, but only see sky and some trees.

    ive been trawling around looking for a fix for a while, and all i can seem to find is that its a problem with vista and theres pretty much nothing i can do about it. just wondering if anyone here knows aything about it...

    specs are

    core 2 duo t700 2ghz
    2gb ddr2 ram
    nvidia 8600M GT 512 ddr2
    OS : Vista Home Premium

    Ok, you say only sky and trees. Have you tried to look at the ground, can you see grass? Can you see some buildings? I have played it and the only problem is that sometimes it has problems loading all 'objects' in the field (it does it after some time), but besides that nothing to make it impossible to play it.

    I sort of had this problem before, and it's a graphics issue. Make sure the latest drivers are installed.

    k i've got the latest drivers and just to clarify, i can see all the hud info, the map, hear people talking, but i see nothing but they sky and grey :(

    If you have all the updates of the game (I think v1.05 is the newest) and still cannot solve it, try to reinstall it. Sometimes such things work.
