What's awesome is that all the Geforce 8800's and 2900's will be able to support that resolution, everything maxed out, AA turned up to maximum, at 30+ FPS.

The one pro of the HD 2900XT is that it supports 24X AA ;) Other than that, I would prefer an 8800GTS.

Doesn't sound awesome to me... Just means that they have to cut down on the graphics to support that resolution. I'd rather have a game that yes, could run at that res, but could enable better graphics if you lowered the res.

Running at a high res is no challenge. Anyone could do that. Doing it with everything maxed just requires you to lower your reduce your graphics level across the board.

Native Res everything med/low: average 15fps
default settings: didn't drop below 20, average 30 fps

In gameplay fps seem to go up, although I keep dying before I can finish the misison >.> In snow I seem to be getting about 30-40fps running around shotting stuff.

go here and download it, dx9 version said I was missing d3dx9_33.dll, most games include the dll's they need but I guess Capcom thought we had it already >.<

I went to microsoft and downloaded the latest DX10 and it runs well, cant really say I'm much impressed by it though. 1360x760 was the highest res available for me, which I find odd, my lcd supports 1680x1050, at 1360x760 I can run it with all settings on high execpt for medium shadows, medium HDR 4x AA/16xAF, and get an average of 48fps in snow and 41 in the cave, with everything on high I get around 36 snow 29 cave. All in all its not as disappointing as the first ever DX8.1 offerings, ballistics was nothing more than a glorified tech demo, this has much more substance than that, though it still feels that gameplay has been left in the back row.

wow, talk about a direct 360 port. keyboard commands like Esc still dont wirk in the menus and you still have it telling you to hit the red "B" to go back a menu lol.

anyway here is what I got:

preloaded setting at 1920x1080 all medium settings
    Snow: 45fps Cave: 65fps

maxed settings at 1920x1200 except shadow texture, wouldn't go past medium for some reason
    Snow: 26fps Cave: 41fps

this was on my desktop in my sig. will post if I get a chance to try it out on my notebook.

This game raped my S96J. I'm geting 7~11 FPS in the benchmark on mostly medium settings. Changing all settings to low/none has little effect.

    Specs:
    Intel T2400 @ 1.83Ghz
    2 GB RAM
    Mobility X1600

Changing settings doesn't have much effect somehow. I get fps between 15 and 45 with snow landscape (avg fps is 29 snow, 27 cave). I used the standard settings. At high settings with 1280*960 res i get between 14 and 35 fps.

Well, I got the performance test of the demo to run, I can't run the game though, it locks up and I have to reboot. :(

When I ran the performance test I think I was getting something like like 42 Snow and 45 Cave with all setting cranked all the way, except the resolution was at 1280 x 960 I believe. Anyway, I download the demo off Steam. Does it have to run off Steam does anyone know? I'd rather just run it without Steam.

I downloaded it through Steam. Then I went and downloaded it off of fileplanet. It still crashes on me. Kind of odd. Ah well, they do throw a big disclaimer on it so I can't say I am entirely surprised.

How did you guys get the demo to work? I downloaded both the dll's that are needed, but whenever I run it, it just exits.
I'm running this on my G1s.
