    Yo guys!
Since Lost Planet 2 is about to hit the shelves, there's a benchmark available to download.
    Heres the link: http://files-euaf-adl.games.on.net/...2402652-49302519696/LostPlanet2_Benchmark.zip

If it doesnt work, try this: Games On Net File Library :: Lost Planet 2: PC Benchmark - LostPlanet2_Benchmark.zip

Its roughly 955mb packed, unpacked around 1gb.
    Heres my results:

(My laptop is in sig. Using 259.32 Quadro FX drivers 560/1450/900, Cpu@ 3,60ghz)

    DX9 Obviously

    1680x1050
    TEST A RANK: C AVG FPS 28.7
    TEST B RANK: D AVG FPS 25.8
All High, Blur ON, Vsync ON EXTERNALLY (D3Doverrider+Triple Buffering)
    8xCsaa

    1680x1050
    TEST A RANK: C AVG FPS 32.6
    TEST B RANK: C AVG FPS 29.8
All High, Blur ON, Vsync ON EXTERNALLY (D3Doverrider+Triple Buffering)
    NO AA

    1280x720
    TEST A RANK: B AVG FPS 41.5
    TEST B RANK: C AVG FPS 36.5
All High, Blur ON, Vsync ON EXTERNALLY (D3Doverrider+Triple Buffering)
    8xCsaa

    1280x720
    TEST A RANK: B AVG FPS 52.5
    TEST B RANK: B AVG FPS 47.6
All High, Blur ON, Vsync ON EXTERNALLY (D3Doverrider+Triple Buffering)
    NO AA

Imho the game is really smooth even if fluctuates around 29-33 all the time on my system at highest settings possible (its the default fps speed for consoles).
It uses MT Framework and as always 720p is considered the adviced resolution. But it looks awesome at 1680x1050!
    Let me know your benchmarks!

Graphics are really something in this game, its clearly more defined and gorgeous than 360 version.
I did thos benchmarks with older fx drivers, the 259.32, im going to do some more with the current 260.63 betas.
With your fx oced i bet you will score a bunch of fps more than mines :)

    M15x so far...

I have only completed test A since in the notes they say this is the one that's really relative to the game. Test B is just to push your system to the extreme.
    M15x, I3-350, 1600x900 (native rez)
    m5850 (5870 clocks and voltage)
Settings (all high, dx11, dx11 options/enhancements disabled), NO AA
    Test A=41.9
Settings (all high, dx11, dx11 options/enhancements disabled low), NO AA
    Test A=28.6
Settings (all high, dx11, dx11 options/enhancements disabled medium), NO AA
    Test A=23.4
Settings (all high, dx9), NO AA
    Test A=46.2

    So.. not too bad.

    1920x1200
    TEST A RANK: B AVG FPS 58.4
    TEST B RANK: B AVG FPS 37.4
No AA, Vsync On and all other options maxed.

I couldn´t get any good AA compatibility in the SLI profile, thereby I ran without any AA.

Benchmark with XPS M1730 in signature.

    1920 X 1080
    Test A Rank B = 47.4 FPS
    Test B Rank B = 32.3 FPS

    AA 8X, All high, DX9

Does this game only allow DX11 if you have DX11 hardware?

Great guys ;) so the engine is performing well on various setup as i can see: as always note that capcom benchmarks usually are more heavy than the game itself (a bit, nothing extreme) like sf4 benchmark and re5. I bet that in the real game it can perform much better.
And big_eazy thanks for the tip about dox 182.20,i was tempted but two things kept me away to testing it: theres no support for fx quadros (i have to edit it as gtx 280m) and newer games have glitches and problems with physix.

Just out of curiosity I ran it on M11x.

    DX9 - 1360x768 - all high settings, no AA

    22.5 fps - Test A

    19.1 fps - Test B

The boss fight in test B looks like alot of fun, like some the of my favorite boss fights in RE4.

Downloading it now, will edit and post back results soon.

So far looks like scores posted wont mean much for comparing systems since it seems almost nobody has tested with the same settings.

Its all good and well to post random scores but it would be much more beneficial to come up with 2 or 3 standards for testing so that we can all run and then compare the scores accurately.

Edit: Ok here is my scores.

Thats true, the meaning behind my tests was to establish a standard benchmark set for everyone.
Anyway its pretty clear where nvidias gtx and fx goes,as well as newer ati gpus ;)

    A cpu overclock from 1.6ghz to 1.75ghz got me a 0 fps gain :D

Are you on a dual core? Maybe that is why and the game is taking full advantage of my quad core.

DX9 results only and specs are in my sig.

    Test A:

All settings high, Vsync disabled, AA disabled, motion blur enabled at 1600 x 900 I got an average of 44.8 fps.

All settings high, Vsync disabled, CSAA8X, motion blur enabled at 1600 x 900 I got an average of 34.1 fps.

    Test B:

All settings high, Vsync disabled, AA disabled, motion blur enabled at 1600 x 900 I got an average of 36.6 fps.

All settings high, Vsync disabled, CSAA8X, motion blur enabled at 1600 x 900 I got an average of 29.7 fps.

I noticed test B was using over 80% of all Cores (including HT) compared to test A which didn't use as much at all. Overall CPU usage in test B was very high and it was using every Core available!

Im doing a few more runs for those with 900p display (1600x900) like laptopnut above. This should help those with this screen res.
720p test are in first post.

Note: most of 900p users are equipped with newer core i7 cpus, please keep in mind that im running a dual core x9100@3,6ghz, so performance wise should be lesser.

    1600x900
    All high
    8xCsaa
    Blur on
    Vsync on
    Fx 3700m @ 560/1450/900

    Test a: avg 34.0 fps
With NO VSYNC (Same settings): 36.1

    1600x900
    All high
    No AA
    Blur on
    Vsync on
    Fx 3700m @ 560/1450/900

    Test a: avg 41.1 fps
With NO VSYNC (Same settings): 43.8

    @ Kingpinzero

It would be interesting to see what you get on test B since you mentioned your Dual Core CPU. I think test A is for the GPU and test B is for the CPU.

1680x1050, all HIGH, no AA. DX9, of course.

    TEST A -

    TEST B -
    [IMG]

I'm not satisfied with these results. I had way too many frame drops into the low 20s.

I'll probably hold off on LP2, until I get a faster machine.

This game is serious eye candy. Just beautiful.

His benchmarks are totally awesome. That 8800m gtx sli gives me creeps! I mean, his 3dmark06 score is 2000 below my superclocked desktop pc (e8500@4,25ghz + GTX 260 sp216).

Too bad that a second hand sli notebook still costs a lung.... :(

Kingpinzero I agree, gaming laptops costs too much. Well my SLI notebook is heavily tweaked that´s why I get decent scores :)

no overclock 8800 m gtx sli, just bought this from Mrblur for 8 bills, course I drove up to LA to pick it up, but I was in the area anyways :0. Putting in a qx9650 in the next day or so. Still trying to decide If I'm going to keep the current gpu's or swap for a fx 3700m.

Magnus how did you fix the AA issue? Turning on 8xcsa drops my frame rate to 10fps in test A.

    No aa

Rorschach instead of turning AA on in game I use Nhancer to force AA instead. Much better performance with the same AA quality since I can run AA in SLI mode instead, in game it seems it runs AA on only one GPU thereby dropping the framerate considerly.

I use 197.15 in Win XP SP3 and Vista 64. This driver is a very solid one.
