I don't really want to get windows 7, but I would get it if it offered a boost to my low-end g 105m graphics card. Does anyone have any comments about windows 7 gaming and low end gpu's like 8400m, 9200m, 9300m compared to vista?

Windows 7 is just a tweaked version of Vista. Its not going to make your hardware any better than it currently is.
Talks of 'boosts' and things are greatly exaggerated. I mean, the OS is a little tweaked for performance gains, so you might see an extra frame or two here or there, but don't expect to suddenly be playing Crysis on a low-end machine. Everything on Win 7 runs roughly the same for me as Vista. -
although it certainly is faster
-
But certainly less faster than xp!!

but better at gaming than OS X!!

so? what`s the conclusion? if i`l get x7 on my pc,will be better for gaming ?:|
-
No, it won't.
-
it will be the same as vista at the least

If you want better gaming performance, the best thing is a hardware upgrade. -
Though it might make the performance less jumpy depending on the game.. seems the framerate is a little smoother in 7 than vista.

Agreed, i've noticed more fluent rates
Low End gpu's + Windows 7 gaming
