Hi, I'm having some trouble with my Lenovo T410 and was hoping to get some help on it.

I can't say how tech savvy I am since I have no way to compare myself to other individuals, but I will do my best to answer any questions. This is the first time I've tried for help on a computer problem though.

I recently bought a Lenovo T410 on eBay to replace my current HP Tx2 Touchsmart. I needed a better processor, hard drive, and video card so a new laptop seemed appropriate.

I've been having problems with my FPS on the Lenovo laptop. While I was using their diagnostic system to run a stress test on the components; when it got to the Video card and started running a few animations the FPS listed in the corner was 4. Yeah, 4 frames per second. To test this further, I looked for and downloaded an online game that showed FPS on my HP and Lenovo laptop. It happened to be World of Tanks if that has any relevance. Anyways, on my HP laptop the FPS was about 15, which is what I expected. However, on my lenovo, it was ranging between 6-8.

I'm hoping I can get some insight to see if there are some things I could do to fix this issue. I ran dxdiag and my DirectDraw, acceleration, and AGP texture are enabled. Otherwise, I'm at a loss.

    Lenovo T410 Specs:
    Intel i7 M620 @2.67 GHz
    Intel HD Graphics
    12 GB Ram
    Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
    1440 x 900 LCD Display 14.1"

    HP Tx2 Touchsmart:
    AMD Turion x2 @2.2GHz
    ATI Radeon 3200
    2GB Ram
    Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

Return the system you just bought (if you can) and buy something that has a dedicated graphics processor. Head up to the "What Notebook Should I Buy" forum, fill out the "What Should I Buy" form contained in the sticky post, and we can help you from there.

You will be fine for Angry birds and games that you can buy from the Chrome web store.
