I almost get the same fps if i run all high or all low when i look out on huge open areas in BF2, some maps are unplayable and drops my FPS to like 25ish on 32 ppl server.

Is there anything i can do to improove the performance?

Use DX9 path, and play on decent resolution. My GTX260m needed medium settings, low shadows to keep high fps. It's a rather taxing game for the G92. At least I was never pleased with my GTX260m and that particular game.

Actually I didn't have problems with any game save Metro 2033 and BC2 with my previous laptop. I don't know if it is related to the architecture, because I know 460m and HD5870m, at least on BFBC2, they have great performance even on high settings.

ok my a friend i have with 5850 gets average 30 fps with all high. I get the same FPS if i run all high or all low lol.

On most maps its quite good like 35 average in fire fights, but on the big maps that are very very open where you can see very very far its will drop to 25 fps many places.
