Compared to my 32bit vista which i had an average of 1850, iam getting 100 point decrease in my 64 bit vista homepremium and its using the same drivers. 9.1.
I thought 64 bit is suppose to be faster.![]()

100 points is likely to be found in your CPU score. But, there are natural fluctuations.

I made a notepad, sm2.0 and sm.3.0 went down. Cpu score stayed rather around the same, maybe a 10-15 difference.
Note that I did several test, not just one -

I'd try different drivers . . . even though you are using the same version, perhaps there is something different about them.
Note that 3DMark06 is a 32-bit program and thus its performance should be the same. It won't perform any better under a 64-bit OS. -
But has your performance decreased while gaming? 100 points in 3dM06 doesn't equal any difference.
-
it seems about the same

you could run 3dmark06 twice on the same computer with the same OS and get scores that vary by about 100 points.

Hell, I get 100 point fluctuations b/w each gpu driver update. That's chump change in the Grand Scheme of Things, imo. Don't sweat it and laugh it off.
Lower 3dmark06 score...
