    Hello !

I own a Sharp Actius UM32W that has Intel 82830M (Intel Extreme Graphics) chip that goes wery hot. After 1 - 2 hours the notebook freezes.
Do you know a software or method to lower the GPU frequency ? Thanks in advance and please accept my appoligies for the bad english.

That model has a single ventilator, that cools the processor. The part that is getting hot its the GPU - it seems to be a design flaw. So... any ideea about hot to lower some clocks ? I really don't use it for games or other GPU intensive software.

Have you tried undervolting the CPU?

I don't think what you are asking is possible. The CPU produces far more heat than an integrated graphics chip so as noted, you may try undervolting that. See the cooling guide.
