I know both of these cards on a notebook aren't high end but just wanted to know that is there a slight difference between the Radeon HD 6310 and 7310? I know that the 7310 is the second gen but is it any better than the 6310? Or do they both perform exactly the same like spec wise and other stuff?

Same core and identical clock speeds. There is no difference at all...
-
I know you said identical clock speeds so does that mean that the speed is exactly same? Or is there maybe like 100mhz or so fast on the 7310? Or maybe just 50mhz fast? Or are they both 500mhz total and exactly the same so basically the only difference in the two cards is the numbers one is 6310 and one is 7310?
I always before thought newer models will have maybe just slight better speed or something but is both these cards 100% exactly same and just changed the number? -
Exactly, it's called rebrand. They usually add few mhz but in this lowest segment they didn't even bother...
-
Well actually I see both are 500mhz but is that possible? Or does notebook review have the wrong specs for the two cards? Also according to them they are exactly same features also. I thought maybe the 7310 has few MHz faster but is it really true that both are 500mhz and 100% no difference? I would like if you guys can check this also. Thanks

Radeon HD 7310 IGP vs 6310 IGP
Take a look, 6310m - 492mhz and 7310m - 500mhz, there is your difference. -
So it's slightly faster on the 7310. Other than that does if have any other difference on features?
-
So I guess both are exactly same cards just one has 7mhz faster than the other one. I can say that when I saw the 7310 I thought it would have more features since 7000 series is newer than 6000 series but I guess they are the same in this case and just has 7mhz faster on the 7310. Interesting

Notebookcheck.com said " The AMD Radeon HD 7310 (or perhaps also called ATI Mobility Radeon HD 7310) is an integrated graphics card in the 2nd generation Zacate netbook processor. It is based on the same graphics core as the Radeon HD 6310, the clock speed is identical as well. Furthermore, it features the UVD3 video processor.
The 3D performance of the HD 7310 is beneath a HD 4330 due to the missing dedicated graphics memory (shared memory only). Gaming performance is therefore similar to a Nvidia ION or Intel HD Graphics graphics card. In our tests, the almost identical 6310 was only able to run low end games like Fifa 11, Sims 3 and Star Craft 2 single player in lowest detail settings fluently. More demanding games like Risen or Call of Duty series were not playable. Detailed performance information can be found here.
The UVD3 video decoder allows the decoding of HD videos using the graphics card. It allows the parallel decoding of two MPEG2, H.264 and VC-1 streams and therefore compatible to BD-Live. Furthermore, the new UVD3 also supports DivX, Xvid and MPEG4 Part 2 decoding. Blu-Ray 3D via MCV (Multiview Video Coding) is theoretically supported by the UVD3 but wasn't available in the first laptops and platforms (no hardware accelleration and no HDMI 1.4 output)."
