    Don't bother.

    Unless you're getting Bootcamp.

There really aren't many games released for Mac when compared to those released for Windows so the market is smaller software-wise(although bootcamp negates this more or less).

Hardware-wise they're decent, but nothing special(Mac laptops). The best Macbook so far comes with a 9600M GT IIRC which is a mid-range GPU. It'll play just about any game out, but it won't max them all out(nor will it max out games in the future either).

Ya i'm lucky, most games I play are made by Blizzard, and they release on both platforms :)

But if gaming is your main concern I would agree you should probably get a pc laptop. (or in my case a PC desktop)

The console market is 10 times the size of the PC market, and the PC market is 20 times the size of the Mac market. Game companies develop for the various platforms according to that. If you want to game, stay far away from the Mac store. Also, games without a second mouse button... no fun. :)

Never. They don't present the same value for gaming compared to a windows equivalent pc.

Plus, you'll only be buying a mac only to, on top of the bloated price, purchase a copy of vista/7 for at least $130.

Wow you are way behind the times. Been using Multiple button mice for years on all my macs. No way I could play WOW or Diablo 2 without them!

Boot Camp is the soap but the whole mixture is messy and disgusting.

who uses a touch pad for gaming? you realise most mouses can be used on macs right?

anywho macs are good for some things, but gaming isnt one of them. if you have one with a 9600m gt though or above you should be able to run most games just fine, with bootcamp anyway.
