MMO Survey

Hi folks,

I'm currently doing my masters degree and would appreciate if some members of this NR community could take the time to complete a small survey.

The paper is Impact of ICT on Society and the topic is The Impact of Massively Multiplayer Games on Teenagers and Young Adults.

I just completed the form and submitted. You might make it clear somewhere that people must click the link in the email you send to make the survey valid, otherwise you might get a lot of filled-but-unsubmitted responses.

sirmetman, this is not part of the thesis, but one of the papers for my post grad leading up to the thesis. Its a study of the Impact of Massively Multiplayer Games on Teenagers and Young Adults.

<----- WoW former addict ...... I managed to quit for almost a year now WOOHOO!!!!

 

Perhaps ironically the online game I actually got 'lightly' addicted to was Starcraft, not an MMO.

I say lightly because I didn't neglect real life commitments (except homework, but I've always neglected that) or stuff like that, the worst I did was lose sleep.

 

Also done, there was a serious lack of homework/studying/sleep during my wow years

 

Much appreciated guys, thanks. Getting very close now to getting meaningful data.

For me it was both EQ and WoW. Especially EQ, played that for almost 5 years, and too many hours per week. WoW for a couple of years.
