Hi, ive got an MSI gt735 with an ati mobility 3850.
windows vista 32b, avermedia usb hybrid tv tuner.

My desktop stopped working properly so i connected my tv hdmi to the laptop thinking all would be the same, but i cant seem to control any of my usual options (extended desktop, theatre mode, etc..) from catalyst control panel. I can make it work but its annoying that i cant use extended desktop, so whenever i want to use the tv and computer i have to mess with resolution and press this damn fn + F2 combination until my tv turns on.

Any idea's about how i can make this work more like my desktop?
would mobility modder do what im looking for? exactly what i want is 1) independant resolutions, and 2) always on from the hardware POV, so that all i have to do is turn on my tv, switch to HDMI and go.
