hmm I wonder if it would be worth it to buy an integrated lappy for cheaper and just buy one of these for games. We'll have to see pricing
-
I want the day to come in 2009 when these things have really come along and I do not need to replace my lappie
Hopefully, they will have moved on from the toaster designNice post

How does it plug into the laptop?

I assume this is still the same sort of mechanism where it outputs video to an external monitor (i.e. you can't just hook this up to your laptop and use the GPU to display the video on the laptop's screen)?
-
I really dun mind about having the long PCIex16 on the underside of the laptop...
stuff it in, i m for it. -
peeeerfect! I hope these toasters will spread around quickly enough, so when my GFM8600GT will be obsolete I'll be able to plug in a high-end upgradable graphics toaster
(if they will be popular prices will go down)
-
If it is only a USB or PCIeX1 connection (ExpressCard), that thing isn't going to work so well...
Longing for the day that we have a PCIeX16 connector we can hook up to. -
When is the MSi Luxium coming out? The Asus xg station is taking forever
