MW2 - $16.97 at Walmart

Not sure if it's just my local Walmart or all Walmarts, but I went today and saw MW2 (yes for PC) for $16.97.

I certainly am not. I went this morning around 11AM, but unfortunately (this is very unfortunate), I could not wait in that 2 hour line, so I couldn't pick up a copy of the game. I may go again later today if time permits.

I wish we had a Walmart closer to the city. On the walmart website it still shows it at 59.98, and without the 10 dollar gift card consoles get.

this is most likely neither a black friday deal, and its defenatly not perminant... Individual wal-mart stores have the ability to reduce pricing of items with permission from head office, where it does not have to cover all walmarts...

if this was a deal at all walmarts, the deal would of been covered online...

Hell i have purchased a 100$ creeper (automotive roller cart thingy you lay on to go under the car) for 5$ because the manager wanted to get rid of some inventory, and draw people to the walmart through word of mouth

 

I was at Walmart today and the only Call of Duty was Modern Warfare for $25 so I don't know which MW2 the OP speaks of. I was able to pickup NBA 2K10 (Xbox 360) for $25 and Lord of the Rings Conquest $10.

But MW2 is a classic that has been referred to as MW2 for years before Modern Warfare 2 came along. First time it was mentioned, I thought what the heck is the bid deal, Mech Warrior 2 has been out for ages.

 

MW2 has one of the best soundtracks ever in a video game.

Yea, I just got the official soundtrack, it's great.

 

Just went back to Walmart, but all the copies were all sold out, surprise surprise. I talked to one of the head cashier person that was in charge of the electronics line, whom I asked to hold a copy and told that I would go back later tonight, he said that he couldn't hold the game because all the copies were gone within minutes (the reason why all the games were still there at 11AM, according to him, was because the person with the key to the COD6 display case was MIA after the store opened). So angry!

The Walmart I went to had CoD4 for sale at $49.99 or somewhere around there. Didn't see 2K10 or else I would've gotten it for my roommate in a heartbeat, he's been talking about that game for ever. I remember seeing Tekken 6 for $25 too (or was it $35?), but forgot if it was at Walmart or somewhere else.

$25 for Tekken 6? The most noticeable game I saw was NFS:Shift, Call of Duty MW1, Dead Space Extraction, NBA 2K10 all $25.

NFS: Undercover was $10. I was hoping for Godfather II for $10 but they were gone.

i clearly saw a strategy guide with the exact same cover as the game lol it was so funny because it was even shaped like a dvd case! like it was a perfect size match! i asked around they said they had nothing of such, the strategy guide is definitely 16.96, im sure u guys had it mixed up lol, because i saw two copies of the PC version for 59.99 guy said alot mistook the strategy guide for the pc version lol. i might take a picture 2mrw just to show you when i do the groceries and see whatever deals are left after

 

To those talking about Tekken 6 I has seen it for $32 on Amazon, but that deal is long gone now
