    Hello fellow NBRers,

I'm trying to decide if I should preorder CoD MW2 now, or wait till later. The reason behind me even thinking about waiting till later (Christmas time) to order is because 1. it may be cheaper during the holiday season 2. I want to see some reviews on the game first and decide if it's worth it 3. I'm getting a new computer around Christmas time with a better card than 8600M-GT. And on the other hand, the reason behind preordering is because the game looks very attractive from the videos I've seen :)

    Any inputs?

My personal opinion is not to buy it. Do Dragon Age, Borderlands, L4D 2, and save up got Mass Effect 2 or Bioshock 2.

I wouldn't wait until christmas. Knowing Acti-blizzard's CEO, he'll probably raise the price for christmas

I never really bother with pre order games because there never really is a reason to. The only time is if they give you a good deal on the preorder and if the little added content is a nice addon. Most of the time game stores will have more then enough copies of big hit games.

Agreed...Probably wont go down in price for a while. COD4 only went down after ~1yr for PC.

There's no point to preorder it, like a discount or something. So I'd say just wait for a few reviews to come out after it's release. Who knows, maybe all the hub-bub over the multiplayer will prove fruitless, and it will actually be a well functioning system. Or it could suck... just wait a little bit and see, that's what I'm doing.

What tobuk said. The content does look amazing from the trailers and whatnot. But keep in mind, a lot of the core aspects that made COD4 for the PC great were changed. I say wait at least for the reviews to find out how everything pans out.
