I have MW3 (Steam version) and am having trouble getting voice chat to work. The 'Voice' and 'Chat' settings in the options menu are greyed out for some reason. I am using a Roccat Kulo USB 7.1 headset. I've no problem using voice chat in Steam so everything is working. Anyone know how to fix this? Or suggest a better voice chat program (free preferably) as I'm usually just chatting to 2 or 3 friends in game. System spec in sig.
    Thanks for any help.

have you tried configuring the steam settings instead? There should be a Voice tab in the settings option. I know most steammworks game usual let Steam take control of voice settings.

for a free voice chat program, use skype. or if you know someone that owns or knows a mumble, vent, or TS server. Ask for server information such as ip, pw(if necessary), and port number (which is usually left untouched).

Thanks. Steam voice chat work's fine in game but was wondering why the voice chat settings in MW3 were not accessible. Will stick to Steam chat or maybe use Skype. Cheers for the suggestions.
