Hey guys, I am in the middle of upgrading my Elitebook. It uses an MXM slot and I'm looking for a new card for it (currently has an NVS 5100M). I am looking for a reasonable one for gaming under $300 (US) because the current one sucks for gaming :D I am looking to play games like TF2, L4D2, Simcity 5, and games like that :p (mostly Valve games). Thanks a lot :D

If I`m not wrong you have MXM Type 3.0A. That means it have a thermal limit of 55W and a memory bus of 128bit max.

I think you're right about it being 3.0A, although I have read elsewhere it's 3.0B and HP refuse to tell me :( I'm just going to go on the basis that it's 3.0A

What cards out there that are either NVIDIA GT6xx, 5xx, 4xx or AMD/ATi HD58xx, 67xx, 77xx that are Type 3.0A?
    Thanks :)

K2000M (650m) , M4000, 6770m are the more powerful ones, though HP bios/vbios may be different and cause some problem depending on the card. The workstation ones price/performance ratio is ...
