I just heard about it... lol

Anyways... I was wondering if anyone knew the GPU's it offers!?!?!

Because I was hearing that it will have a 8600gt or so ! ! !

Even if its only a 8400gt ddr3 and you overclock it... its still

    THE THINNEST ON EARTH

and will still sport some awesome power for its size!

    OK IMA SWITCH MY QUESTION

How can it house components if they are literally as thick as the notebook!?

Because those things aren't as thick as the notebook? And they use the 1.8 inch hard drive found on the iPods. It's like asking yourself why's my iPod so thin?

If you just consider the amount of heat that an 8600M will generate in a normal sized case with decent ventilation...think about it for a moment there.

They had to make a lot of compromises of the internals within the Macbook Air to make it that thin. A few examples would be the limited ports, lack of disk drives, 1.8" hard drive, X3100, etc, etc, etc.

There's a price to pay for such design, it's not like Apple are miracle workers and somehow can fit in an 8600M GT and make it cool enough to run within its frame, doing things successfully where others have failed...

Well, they compensate their hard drives with SSD, which is really good, thus making it expensive. Their GPU is only an Intel X3100, which is OK.
