How can u mod a macbook with the overclocking pin mod
Macbook type is in my sig
I know it's hopeless but i would do ANYTHING to boost performance of my current laptop until i buy a new one

If you can find the PLL on the motherboard, you could try taking your FSB from 266mhz to 333mhz or 400mhz.

If over 280mhz isn't stable, then I don't think 333mhz will be stable either, but maybe it's worth a try anyway.
The PLL is a very small chip. I have some photos in the link I posted earlier. -
I can't speak from any experience with laptops, but when I would overclock my old Core 2 Duo desktop CPU, it would have these odd little gaps of FSB speeds that would cause it to crash, but anything above or below that gap would work.
The default FSB was 200MHz, and I could get it up to 245 without crashing. It would fail to boot with 246...but it worked again at 260 and I got it up to 266 with no trouble. So, maybe if 280 doesn't work, 300 still might.
