Madden 08 is supposed to be 16:9 ratio, but the game has black bars running on either side of it. I was able to adjust the resolution to 1280 x 760 (I think thats right), how do I get it go up to 1366 x 768?

It doesn't look like that resolution is offered. The closest 16:9 would be 1280x720. If your system supports higher resolutions you could go up to 1600x900 or 1980x1020.

When I had vista installed on my computer, the game was full screen.

Okay, I installed Windows Vista to make sure. And yes, the game was full screen. Any ideas?

You should be able to run it in 1280x720 in full screen. For some reason Madden08 doesn't have 1366x768 listed in the settings in the game. At least for my laptop. You should have 1280x720 listed in the game and it should run in wide screen with no black bars.

Yea the highest setting in madden is 1280x720 too and running widescreen on my laptop with vista. I am going to try to re-install 7 again and see what happens.

This is frustrating. I can play Madden 08 with no black bars in Vista, but I can't in windows 7. Any more ideas as to what I can do?
