I have had this problem for 2 months now. Everytime i go to run maple story i get an error saying: Windows can acces the specified path, file, or device. Ive tried every type of option to allow me to access it. I have re-installed it 10 time, and even waited through two patches. I have windows vista, gateway, meets all game requirements. Can anyone help me out?

My best bet would be administrator rights.
Did you try opening from Progam Files/Wizet/Maple Story/MapleStory.exe?

Try and make a new shortcut leading to that.

it shouldn't be a problem with MS. try installing maplestory elsewhere on your harddrive, then run patcher.exe directly from the folder as an administrator. also, right click on maplestory.exe, set compatibility to Windows XP SP2,and click the run as administrator box.

    good luck!

Are you sure you tried installing it in a different drive or folder? It sounds like it is being installed in a protected folder.
