I always wondered what exactly would happen if say Microsoft or Sony was allowed to make a Mario or Zelda game. Now don't get me wrong these two titles alone are my two personal favorite and Nintendo is my favorite developer and they have done some amazing things in the industry.. So my question is. If say Microsoft or Sony ever obtained the rights to make a Zelda or Mario game, how do you think it would turn out???

Sony and MS don't really develop games for their consoles like Nintendo do. They rely primarily on 3rd parties to make games for their platform. I would imagine it would be similar but with better graphics. Anything else it wouldn't be Mario and Zelda anymore.
