    Ok,

I know this has been discussed to the death many, many times, but since now we have Mass Effect 2, I would like to make a topic devoted into speculating about looks of her face,

Why am I doing this? I just finished my very first playthrough in Mass Effect 2 and I must say the game is fantastic, unbelivably well done and polished and involving thanks to good plot.
While I was playing for the first time I wanted to find out about many things, that kept bothering me since Mass Effect 1. One of those things was the mystery according Tali'N'Zorah apperance. Many people were speculating about it, but Mass Effect 2 finally adds more to her character.
Ok, so we found out, that she had a crush on Shepard ( assuming you played as male ) from the very beginning of Mass Effect and now we got romance option with her ( for me it was a "must do" - she and Wrex are my favourite characters from the first game ). Long story short - when things got smooth and Tali wanted to mess around :D I was so excited to see her face FINALLY and since even for a simple kiss she needed to take her mask off I was 100% sure I'm going to see it...and then - BAM  ....middle finger from Bioware OMG.....* spoiler ahead*
....the camera only show us her back and the front of Shepard's face, who is probably now the only non-quarian, who knows how does she look

Does anyone know for example, if Bioware confirmed, that were going to find out about her looks in Mass Effect 3? or this will remain again as a part of community's "wish list"?

Damn, I'm so upset, that I didn't get the chance to see her true looks. :(

I actually was wondering about the mysterious quarians myself... after a little googling I found a fan generated image of what they think the face looks like based on correlating the images of her face in game.... I think it looks pretty close to what BioWare was probably going for.... here ya go:

Yes, I've seen this and many other pics. However I still feel unsatisfied, by predictions made by them.

My bet is - they're skin color can vary just like in case of the humans, mouth is also similar to that of humans, eyes have slight glowing effect - since they can be seen behing mask visor. Only 3 fingers at each of they're members and "chicken-legs" are strange - perhaps a result of quite different gravitation on Quarian home-planet, that forced they're legs to adapt in different way.

let's hope it comes to ME3. Definitely one of the things people are thinking about. One reason why I think they didn't include it in ME2 was that it would've taken too much effort to design a face for a brief .5 second glance. I mean all the quarians are masked and you would only be able to see it for .5 seconds and that would be a lot of work. They would've needed to come up with a design and make it work.

Something of note as well, the general shape of that fan made picture is good but the structure could be completely different. Im pointing this out because Asari can fit their heads into human environment suits (look at ME1 with Liara) so who knows what the quarians are. Maybe they have tentacles at the back of their head too.

Like I stated, I think that Quarian in fact can have even more human-like heads and faces, than Asari, while they're legs and hands seem more different

You know I was really wondering about the same thing, and I'd love to lobby for a look at tali's face in ME3. I mean I wasn't expecting to get a crack at her in ME2 either (had my fingers crossed though), but bioware pulled through.

She reminds me of my fiance actually, smart, nervous, and from a very different culture (japan). Cute as all hell, but we haven't seen tali's face so not sure how it compares, haha. Overall bioware has done an AMAZING job of shaping every character in that game, more so than any book or movie I have seen in a long long long time.

LOL....probably this is why Bioware did not show us her face in ME2. If they did - a lot of people would say that they don't like her "canon" looks or that they portraited her diferently in they're minds...let's hope ME3 will finally show us her face.
