EA Executive: Hmm... Activision got CoD Bros to re-buy Modern Warfare for $80 by making it exclusive to their newest entry into the series AND making them pay more than the entry price. Gentlemen, how can we capitalize on this with our newest Mass Effect game?
EA Henchman: We can re-release Mass Effect 1 for a $100 edition.
EA Executive: No, that's not innovated-evil enough. We're not going to get worst company awards with copying what someone else did.
EA Henchman: What if we release a Collector's Edition for $200 AND we don't include the game?
EA Executive: You have my attention, go on.
EA Henchman: You get all the perks and useless benefits of the Collector's edition except the game, forcing the consumer to buy both the game and the collector's edition.
EA Executive: We're getting pretty close to evil, now drive it home.
EA Henchman: The're will be an exclusive version of the game that is only available for the Collector's edition, for $100.
