Oh wow, I didn't expect this. This should be good. I can totally see Wahlberg as Payne.
Thanks for the heads up Gophn! -
All I ask is to have a great narration, like in the game series.
-
Wahlberg is a surprisingly fantastic actor, and can't wait to see how this movie turned out. He even made "Fear" a good movie. (You know, after whole "Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch" thing...)
-
very nice, when is it coming out? lol
-
-
I hope they have the candle scene in it, as well as the subway shots.
-
I don't know if I can watch Mark Wahlberg after his performance in "The Happening". Pitiful...
Nonetheless, he did play a good role in "Shooter". -
Shooter was pretty good.
-
it's been a while since i've seen mila kunis in anything.
-
Aside from That 70's Show, I agree...

I take it you haven't watched Forgetting Sarah Marshall. -
haven't seen it, but i did forget about that.
-
I guess I already Forgot about Sarah Marshall... never seen the movie.
She is on Family Guy though... -
What a classic game, I just finished playing it again.
GO MARK WAHLBERG! AWESOME.
Does anyone know if it just covers the story in the first game, or is it both? Or is it modifed? -
Wow. DEFINITELY going to see that!
-
i suck
10 char -
Kunis is hot
.
Wahlberg dissapointed me in The Happening. But then again he wins at everything forever because of The Big Hit. -
Who is Wahlberg... doesn't look like Max to me...
-
Mark Wahlberg had to act a little extra goofy in The Happening because pretty much all of M. Night Shamalan's movies are meant to be analogous to dreams.
I don't blame Mark for that! -
ScifiMike12 Drinking the good stuff
I got goosebumps watching the clip. (a good thing)
The only thing I don't like about the movie is that it will be rated PG-13. But as long as they stick to a good storyline and have plenty of bullet-time shooting.. I'm good. -
-
PG13... sad...
-
I'm gonna watch it!
-
ZOMG... Is that a monster at the end? >_< lol
I don't remember any monsters in max payne when I played it... -
I only remembered gangsters.... and a sexy Mona (nude cheat)
-
Mila is all I need to go see that movie. Mark is a good actor. Actors can only do so much, so it's not their fault if the movie sucks.

i had both games, didnt really like them. they were okay and the bullet time was cool for the first couple of times. dont think ill bother seeing, considering how most if not all game based films turn out (can anyone name a film based on a game that was any good?)
-
Have been following news about this movie for some time now. Thanks for the trailer Gophn.
The role does suit Mark Wahlberg, the trailer looked great, captured the darkness of the games and the narration was done in a great voice.
However I reckon they took the "flesh of fallen angels" thing a bit too literally, looks like Constantine in a few of the scenes lol -
I enjoyed both games -especially the level of detail - but got stuck in a hallway in Max Payne 2 - and could never get out of it to continue the game. Have Googled it a couple of times but could never escape the hallway. I thought there was going to be a follow-on to MP2 but I forget the name.
-
-
I loved the first Max Payne game - I've started the demo of MP2 have to find a retail copy. Since I'm trapped at work I'll have to watch the trailers when I get home
-
Wow! This will be interesting...
I wish, though, that they would have used the same woman they used for the character of Mona Sax as in the game, for the movie...
-
yeah, I liked the mona sax from the game better, they should have gotten a look alike or something.
-
But wasn't the character from the game drawn?
-
Max Payne main characters are based from real people.
- the original Max Payne was based off of Sam Lake (writer of Max Payne)
Mark Wahlberg should do fine as a Max Payne look-alike
-
After seeing the trailer I'm excited for the movie
I don't think there is anything wrong with Mila Kunis playing Mona Sax. I can see it as long as her character in the movie doesn't come off annoying and ditzy like her typical roles.

I have a man-crush on Marky Mark...
I gotta stop watching Oxygen with the wife...

Mona Sax is based on a model.
The voice however does not belong to her. -
It comes out on my b-day
-
-
Anyone knows the name of the soundtrack in the trailer? Sounds awesome.
Infact anyone knows the name of the game soundtrack as well? -
As far as the monsters go, I wonder if they are going be real or just in Max's dreams. -
-
Creepy is an understatement....lol. Do you remember the rooms dream? I liked the dream in the first Max Payne where he thought he was a video game character.

Hmmm, wonder why they choose this game to make a movie. I love all the max payne games. I thought they were very underrated. Some of my favorite games.
