Hello,
I am planning to buy 24" 1080P LCD monitor. Would my graphics be able to hand the resolution(1920x1200)?

its not a 1080p display
its more!
and yes, the 8600m gt will handle that easily. -
What do you intend to do with it? I'm pretty sure the card can easily handle running the Windows desktop at that resolution, but I doubt many games would work well (it only has a 128-bit memory bus...).

Hi,
I will be using this monitor to multi-task/PS3 system (Full Blu-ray experience!) I won't even dare to play PC games with that resolution.
Thank you, -

I use my 24in LCD with 1920x1200 res, as well as my 17in internal LCD with the same resolution just fine on my 8600mGT DDR2. And yes you can game, depending on what it is though.
Max resolution for 8600GT DDR2
