    Haha XTU BIOS ftw.

    Blimey 21796 to 26930 (+24%) going from 3610QM to 3740QM OC.

Looking forward to getting mine in a few days!

EDIT: That was pretty much spot on what your clock speed increased so I suppose that result is to be expected (3093 MHz to 3891 MHz or ~25%)

Here's a 30k GPU run with a 680M GTX. All stock cooling, no cooling pad or anything like that. Should get a higher score soon once I get the 3 pipe CPU cooler from Dell.

You LOST. Like it was obvious a 680M would do with a faster CPU.

Get over it and stop being such a fanboy.

Honestly, I don't know what's more laugh-worthy? The clown, his appraisers, their criticism or the overly savvy "low score" comments... End of pun. It's a good card. So be it! Please leave it at that.

    3740QM?

I suppose this is the second batch of a 3720QM with a slightly higher baseclock?

What I lost? Am I working for amd? Are you working for nvidia? Congratulations to nvidia, why are you trying to take credit over installing software you have nothing to do with its code? Grow up and take credit over what you actually do.

Threads like this are crying out for a green myst of closure. Humerous however.

It does appear that some of us are compensating for something by making claims like this. For the record I am happy with my 6990M ;)

Soooo apart from peanut waggling, what's the word on getting more out of the Dell card at safe levels?

    Sick scores though.

Well it seems as he did do something. He posted a 28k score with a 680M.

There are alot of 680M owners and I dont see their cards running 28k. It silly to think because you didn't write or build something that what you do with it doesn't mean anything.

BTW the other guy with a 30k score is pretty impressive too.

The silly thing is putting threads like,

SEE I DID THIS, I AM SO GOOD.

We have benchmark threads for these, and if you have one thread already for yourself to do this (his own thread AND 680m benchmark thread), use that thread the second time, this forum is already growing a lot by everyone posting threads, and if someone posts a thread to make it such that everyone sees it, that is childish.

As I wouldn't like to infringe a great number of the Forum Rules by stating my opinion about Meaker and his 'achievements', the only thing I'd add to this conversation is a quote from them:

I honestly hope the rules will be kept and this mess soon disappears.

Pretty much confirmed that the 680M is bottlenecked by CPU then. So for people who does overclocking, they need a better CPU than 3610QM.

Nice scores you two. +rep :)

If there are too many threads I am sure the mods will provide some guidance. If I am not interested in something I just skip it. So the bloat of all the duplicate or similiar threads doesn't have much impact on my experience here.

I do agree that this is a bit "look what I did" but I feel the same for ALL BENCHMARKING. I happen to like seeing everyone's stats so as in most things in life everyone may not share your opinion.

Meh, just post these kinds of things in a benchmark thread. You know, benchmark threads should have a directory or leader board in the opening post.

These self-aggrandizing threads are kind of silly.

    Thread closed.
