It looks like CODMW2 and BFBC2 put together

 

This looks unreal, I WANT!

 

Wow, this looks like it's going to be a good game.

Only thing is, how much will I really be playing it? I mean, it reminds me A LOT of Bad Company 2, and judging by this trailer, I would play BC2 more than this.

There is also a few things I hope they change:

When you kill an enemy, don't flash the "10" on the screen so fast it would be hard to see if your gunning for multiple people, and hard to tell if you got the kill for each of them.

I like the knife, but it reminds me to much of Modern Warfare 2. I like the animation, but just slow it down just a bit. If they did that, I would like it a lot better (I hope they speed up the knife in BC2 as well).

Unless you can't use it for a certain amount of time, I would slow down the Mortar Strikes. Otherwise kid's will just camp and spam the crap out of it.

Take out the "Revenge Kill" bonus. We all know how well the "Payback" worked out in MW2. If they can get a bonus for hunting you down, everyone knows people will do it. (And they will concentrate on finding you until they kill you).


Other than that, for MoH's first Multiplayer game like this, it looks like it will give a few games a run for their money. And by the looks of it, the games can go on for ages (I didn't see a timer) so that's a big plus.

 

This reminds me a lot of MW2, instead of BC2 for some reason... To me everything feels and looks (almost too much) like MW2 (but in a good way), except for some of the weapon sights and abilities.

 

It's like CoD6 and BC2 had a child. A couple of times it looks as if the opponents had hit reg issues too!

I don't see MW2 at all...it looks (and sounds) pretty much exactly like BC2 multiplayer to me.

 

I think it looks nice. From what I've seen I like it better than BC2. So I'll probably be getting it.

 

hummm....frankly, with everything that's out right now, this doesn't look that special; too much of the same stuff. Oh well, will have to see what it's like when it's released!

 

That is exactly what I see. The environment and the interface looks very similar to BC2. The vehicles do as well, too much so in my opinion. MW2 elements are present, but I think they are less noticeable than the obvious BC2 influences.

 

The only MW2 influence I could see was smaller maps and instant knifing.

 

the movement, the gun movement when running and when jogging, it's all EXACTLY the same as BC2.
the only difference is, he didn't have to stand there slashing away *knifeknifeknifeknifeknife* to kill that guy

edit: oh and i like the instant mortar strike, rather than being sat there holding it for 5 seconds staring at the target, but i get the feeling it will be very annoying being spammed by it in the same way noobtubing occurs in BC2

 

yeah and considering it is made by DICE -- multiplayer -- and the engine uses the frostbite engine, i might not be getting this.

I mean bad company 2 is a true console port -- quadcore cpu a must -- and with every patch DICE has made the game even worse, as of now i cant even play the game with over 30 frame-per-second.

I really feel like i wont be giving DICE anymore money as the total epic fail that BC2 is will definitely follow suit with MOH multiplayer.

 

Feels good playing BC2 at maxs graphic with constant 60+ FPS
I am sure i'll check out this MoH too, it looks entertaining.

 

Well they still have time to change things, since its going to be out @ October anyway.

 

Dont have any issues running BF:BC2 on my computer.
AMD Phenom x3 710 @ 2,6 GHz and ATI Radeon HD 4770 running the game at 1920x1080 60fps in Dx9 Medium settings and low shadow quality.
I would say the patches actually improved more than it breaks.

The only problem i have is n00by snipersquads that camp spawn.
Medal of Honor looks like a singleplayer game to me, and il probably grab the special version for PS3 only because of MoH: Frontline HD remake.

 

Wow... This looks like an amazing multiplayer experience. I think I'm going to have to get this!

TF2? you mean bc2 right? Because this looks nothing like TF2.

 

I mean TF2, the slightly cartoonish graphics reminds me of TF2.

 

it's not quite cartoony enough to remind me of TF2, i have been playing the beta, the hit reg is muuuuuch better than BC2, how i hope BC2 becomes with the next update (whenever the heck it arrives) and knifing WORKS. it's more fast paced than BC2 aswell but your health plummets when hit, 2 shots to the body and ur pretty much gone.
tis more fast paced, very buggy atm tho
personally i prefer BC2 more for the moment (providing they sort out knife and hit reg)

it looks/feels like a BC2 game to me. WHich is a good thing. THe only MW2 resemblance is the modern warfare (maps/guns) lol and the team deathmatch type gameplay. It looks less arcadey (heavier) than MW2 but I fear it will have the "one man band" where team play is lost and ppl just go for straight K/D ratios.

 

And you can hunt the Taliban, only that will make me buy this game

 

this looks far too close to modern warfare and the textures are bland. I don't like it...

And this is coming from someone who has yet to play MW2 or BFBC 2 because they are all too familiar.

 

it really looks different from original MOH... almost looks like MW2.. i'm not that convinced about buying it.. we'll see when it comes out.

 

the textures are all so similarcoloured i have problems seeing some of the soldiers before they shoot the crap out of me. my friend has this problem aswell.

 

It looks like just another one of the cheap sub-par shooters from the past 5 years or so. They really to sort out the use of colour and I agree with others that it looks that bit too cartoony.

 

I know an easy way to get a beta key without needing to pre-order (tested it myself and confirmed working). All you need is a Gamespot account and an EA account (which are both free).

Well it's like MW2 in a way, and BC2 as stated already. But I think it will sell because a lot of people that like MW2, but don't like the IWNet system or VAC might find this game to be a better alternative. This game will probably use punkbuster and dedicated servers.

I sold BC2 myself and got tired of it. Will definitely pick this up when it becomes available.

And why wasn't there an option to choose Xbox 360? Only options were PC and PS3.

 

If you have BFBC2, then you can play it now. If you don't, then you have to wait until the 21st

Xbox beta got delayed due to some issues, probably will be available next week or so.

 

Hmm, seems either way I'll be waiting. Might as well keep it for the PC.

By the time it's out for the 360, I will already be playing it on the PC, and they will have probably fixed it anyway, lol.

why do u need bfbc2 to play the beta?

 

Edit: Guess my BFBC2 on the Xbox 360 is linked to an EA account I made to play the beta.

I got my free beta key (just google it, you will find it), and played for about 30 minutes tonight.
The game is ok, not to great (it reminds me A LOT of BFBC2 but a lesser version). On Deathmatch, it is REALLY easy to spawn kill on some parts. The other game mode is like Sabotage, it's ok.

I don't know what I was doing wrong, but I was getting killed so easily. It seems I could empty a clip into someone, and end up dieing in 2 shots.

There is quite a bit of problems in the game, but not a lot for a beta.

Personally I don't think I will be buying this game.

If I could give away my Beta key, I would if I didn't already use it. (I don't know if I still can or not. Can anyone confirm this?)

 

I get a message "Only owners of BFBC2 first hand vip codes are allowed early access to MOH"

- so this is useless I guess unless you own bfbc2.

 

so you still own BC2, even if it is on 360, and i assume it is tied to your EA account.... that is most likely why you can play.

 

That's a possibility. I just created my EA account too, do I don't know how it knew I owned BFBC2.

Oh well. I really wanna wait till it comes out on the 360. Hopefully I can still get a free key, and try it on there. Maybe it will be better.

I don't think so. If I do, I've never seen it (It might have one, cause it says something like "Connecting to EA servers" when you load up the game), but I don't ever remember having to create an account.

 

Here is some gameplay on the M17x. It handles it quite well.

The interface is pretty buggy and I keep getting a ctd whenever I get a 3-5 killstreak. The nice part is that the game loads up so fast that I can just get back to action and my stats aren't lost. I don't get lag either when I play east coast servers unlike BC2.

Anyway, it's shaping up to be a decent game but it's too similar to BC2 that I'm not compelled to get it.
