Hey guys, i'm running an E1505 with the specs in my sig. I'm having a terrible time running the game with anything other than the lowest settings. Also, I know this is prolly a worthless issue but, if i've got around 3K or more units on the field i get a horrible stutter, no matter how low my settings are. Can anyone give me some tips or ideas as to why I might be having probs? I kinda figured this comp would be able to handle it okay.

Also, can running the game at my native resolution (1680x1050) speed up gameplay, cause I did and against what I previously thought it runs better at this higher resolution.

maybe your graphics card can't handle the amount of units on screen

Yeah... Total War is a pretty demanding game. Even on my friends 7900GS (desktop), the game sometime shutter and drop fps like crazy in a sceen with more than 2K men.

interesting, i played the game on 800X600 Res with med-high setting, and had nothing below 40 fps, with at least 3k units. but my card is over clocked, so that may be it.

I hate 800x600... I will never play anything at this res.
At least 1024x768, and more = better. I have a 1680x1050 res. monitor and low res. game looks pretty bad on it.

In my experience, Medieval is more graphically demanding than Supreme Commander and that's saying something especially since SupCom was released several months after Medieval.
