    Hi,

I just checked the new Everest 4.20 and I saw there in Motherboard/Chipset/North Bridge, that it says that my memory controller type is dual channel 128 bit. But it also says that the active mode is single channel 64 bit.

Does anybody know why is that and how could I change to dual channel mode?

This should propably be placed in the hardware section. But answer is that it's capable of doing dual channel if you have two ram modules installed. If you have only one then it runs in single channel and there's no way to change it to dual channel.

It was also sent in the hardware section but on the other hand the memory bandwidth can improve the spped of games very much so it's also a gaming question.

    But thanks for the answer.
