It's that time of year again. That time when you have to wait extra long in line at the grocery store to buy your eggs and bread because everyone else is buying a thousand dollars of crap for their Christmas dinner, last minute stocking stuffers, and overpriced gadgets that look cool but will be broken or unused in a month.

In any case you won't have to deal with any of that here. I'm giving a way free stuff. Free stuff that you only have to push a few keys to get. Even though I'm a grumpy old codger, I still can feel like I'm 80 again by giving away stuff to people younger than my oldest pair of socks.

What's up for grabs? SIX (yes 6) $20 Steam Wallet Gift Cards. You win, you get one $20 Steam code to add $20 to your Steam wallet to buy any games you like.

What's the catch? Simple, follow the rules. If you don't follow the rules, grumpy ol' Saint Wingnutolaus will deny your gift and you will get only a lump of virtual coal.

SO WHAT ARE THE RULES? SIMPLE:

(1) In order to thank the NBR community, I will require that you have been a member of NBR before December 2012 (that means any time in Nov 2012 or earlier), have a minimum of 10 posts before December 2012, and at least one post in 2012. You must also not be banned at the time of the drawing.

(2) You MUST have a valid Steam account. This is required for entry and I will check your profile ID if your name is drawn. Please use the one that can be viewed at http://steamcommunity.com/id/ htwingnut/ for example, full URL desired, but not required. As long as I can find your profile easily.

(3) You MUST be of legal age and it must be legal to play and win such prizes where you live.

(4) You MUST claim your prize via PM within 24 hours of your name being announced as a winner in this thread. I have been nice about that in the past, but this year no way, I'm the Grinch. You win, your simple job is to claim your prize or it will be awarded to someone else.

(5) You can ONLY enter your name once and can only win once. It will be valid for each of the 6 name drawings. I will delete multiple entries.

What a wonderful thing you are doing man. I really like what you are doing, and I think I will do the same with particular friends whom have it rough lately. I like making these holidays a moment of friendship and support, instead of/regardless of religious views.

There's no way a $20 gift card will survive a good Steam holiday sale. I'd probably put it toward games I've always waffled about buying, such as the Dead Space and Arkham games, unless something else really stands out during the sale.
