I have fun playing these old games (via emulators) but boy...are they hard. Luckily I can have unlimited lives so it is less frustrating.

...and I even play it with a game pad too.

    Old school!

That game was fun, especially at arcades, 2 people as a team.

I have the SNES version for me SNES(Doesn't save anymore though..) and one for my PS1. Very fun, spamming = always fun!

Heh these games are very entertaining! Great on a long car trip!

Yes old memories...this brings them back. :)

I remember my dad brought home a computer from work for me when I was a kid...it was DOS something..don't even remember. I played this two color (yes two..maybe three? :p) 2D game, somthing like Alladin - not sure. Man, I got entertainment out of that..so primitive yet so fun!

    Ah I'm rambling.

you people don't play much arcade games? the first metal slug came out in 1996, and is not on snes. the best one is probably 3. quite a few people in asia can finish the games without dying. you can play these games online with emulator.

Arcade game cost too much. I never played them!! I stuck with my one time fee for a consule, which I could usually pull off as a christmas present!!

I played in the arcades for quite a bit, although I have never beaten it heh. Always ran out of dollars(Yes, dollar a game ****it!)

I then later played it on the SNES and PS1 where I beat it, it wasn't that hard :p

my comment was not directed to anyone, just a correction of information. i grow up with arcades, and began to play in arcade when i was 10 years old. snk is simply one of my favorite company. it's sad to see arcade dying since saturn and ps came out.

I don't miss the arcades at all. I hate the arcade joysticks and the big ugly buttons, give me a Playstation controller anyday!!
