That's not bad at all, curious why you didn't use quality DLSS? It looks like the framerate without it is fine for something like ME though.

Kept it at stock Extreme settings for comparisons to everyone else's benchmarks.

Prometheus; extreme, with no settings changed.

I like this game but there are some things... I've been around somewhat in Russia, some of the accents are terrible, almost insulting to those peoples. Why can't I just tap E instead of holding it? Every so often there will be a spot where the bad men/zombie things/critters will come out of nowhere and kill me while I'm supposed to tap E repeatedly to recover. That never happens of course and I die because you absolutely must tap within .000000000001 of when the E cue comes up or you die. Then you reload and are tapping E in anticipation of the bad "X" trying to kill you and you overcome. That got old quickly for me.

I didn't get very far the first time I tried to play this one, maybe an hour or two in. I'll finish this time and I can't say it's a bad game but it won't go on a list of my favorites.

I kinda gave up on hearing someone doing a proper accent. Obviously the stereotypical thick accent does exist, but it comes from the generation which didn't really learn English.
But the cringies portrayal would actually be when they have Google translated text into Russian and give it to someone who doesn't speak the language. I would estimate that 90% of the time it doesn't even make sense what is said in Russian vs what they actually mean and it just sound utterly bad.

The good thing about Metro games is that they are based in Russia, so I just play it with Russia VO. Much much better.

Their syntax doesn't translate well directly to English; you get the gross details, the finer points are what suffers. They can also use the same words but with a different meaning, Google doesn't get that and translates literally. That's obviously not good because most English speakers aren't going to know that a word like "stupid" has a somewhat different meaning to the Russian that said it. I suspect you know all that but a lot of Americans don't travel overseas and little understand how much is lost in translation. They think they know it but they really don't realize the extent, you have to experience it.

In any event; the voice acting is not so great, almost a caricature.

Anyone still notice how the GPU usage drops when outside along with the framerate, especially in the snowy areas in the beginning? Seems like a thread or cpu bottleneck. Happens on my desktops and laptops and totally kills the game for me.
