I know some of you have heard about all of the "ring of death" problems that have been arrising in the 360's. Good news for those of you that own a 360. Microsoft has decided to extend their warranty from one year to three year. Though from my reading this extended warranty only applies to the "ring of death" issue.

    Here is the official announcement:

Here's an interesting read on the subject:

Lol I know I started hearing about the rise in the problem earlier today and it scared me to death because I've been playing N3 constantly past couple of days and it's actually crashed my system a couple of times. Bioshock is coming in Tuesday, Halo 3 this year, Mass Effect this year and I know there's more I've forgotten. Oh yeah Half Life 2: Orange Box so my 360 is definitly gonna get played. I was relieved when I found out that Microsoft had announced the extended warranty.

    Gooooo 360!

Well, I've had my 360 Elite for about...5 days now, and it keeps freezing on Forza, so I may need to replace it. At least 3 years is a decent time to go.

Might be old news to you but new news to me lol. Also it was on AOTS so I thought I'd post it here for any 360 owners.

I don't know anything about Forza but I know when I first got my 360 it would freeze a lot while playing Oblivion, but now it doesn't. I laid it on it's side. see if that helps.

Bah. Microsoft told me they won't service my Xbox 360 with the 3RL problem because I bought it here in the Philippines. Meh. It's going to be hard to sell my Xbox 360 games here. It's either I sell the other stuff or I'll get another Xbox 360 next year, when the foolproof cooling system is in place along with HDMI (finally!).

BTW, I also heard there's going to be an Xbox 360 Ultimate. Crap. Reminds me of the Windows Vista labelling.
