    They're not going anywhere. Filing Chapter 11 just means they need more time to pay off their debts through restructuring and changing their business models.

    They havent made a good game in a long time.. they have been riding these strung out MK games that are downright awful... good riddance, close the door behind you.

    Honestly I stopped caring for Mortal Kombat after the second one, but it'll be sad to see Midway go; they were responsible for some of the best arcade games (Joust, Defender, Cruisin' series, Galaga/Galaxian, Hydro Thunder, San Franciso Rush series, etc.).

    The MK games have sucked since they started slowing down the action. The old games were fast, like Tekken, but these new ones take like 4 seconds to land 2 attacks, it's like a bad wrestling game.. they're terrible.

    midway sucks....the MKs for genesis and psx were ok, but then the MK series just got gay...and every game midway made, i hated

    thats EA for you always jumping in bed with another company.

    NBA Jam was awesome the problem was that at the end of its life Midway was milking the series.
