Miner Wars: 2081

I just though to share this with NBR. I just found out about this game and it looks GREAT!
Miner Wars: 2081
And it's on 70% discount!! The only downside is that there are two packages for the game, the regular game and the mmo version of the game.. They were guaranteeing free MMO version of the game for anyone who purchased before Dec. 1st.. How come whenever I find something like this I'm always late..
But still, it looks great!

 

Reminds me a lot of the Descent games. I miss those.

I'm just not big on MMO's, especially those that you have to pay for on a monthly basis.

 

Well you can buy the non-mmo version which has the Single player and FPS style multiplayer mode. But the mmo version is different from most other mmos out their right now. There is no grinding. No levels I think(Just your skills ). And there are no monthly fees.

 

Bought it like 2 months ago for pre-order when they posted it on the Steam forums hehe.

But i've only spent maybe 1 hour on the game.

Hey chlwotjd is there a building element to this? I saw the video in the main page but didn't see any building to it, just destructible terrain, was just wondering whether that's where the similarity to minecraft ended
